Oluwadare O. Emmanuel

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Oluwadare Emmanuel holds Master Degree in Finance (M.sc) from Lagos State University, Lagos. He is also a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Fellow of National Institute for Education and Research, New Delhi, India.
 
He has worked with S.A. Bammeke& Co. as the Manager in-Charge of Audit & Taxation from 2001 till 2003. 
‘Dare has worked with Alliance & General Insurance Ltd as Head, Internal Control & Audit and later promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2004. He joined Standard Alliance Plc in 2005 and rose to the position of Group Head, Treasury and Investment before leaving for the banking sector.
 
He worked as Chief Financial Officer with Crossover Savings and Loans Ltd from 2010 to 2012.
He later went back to the Insurance industry where he worked from 2003 to 2010 joining Prestige Assurance Plc as Financial Controller in April 2013.
 
Having attended various training in accounting, finance, investment, taxation, treasury management and strategic courses in his working career, he has become well versed in financial reporting, accounting and audit functions. He had served as the Chairman of Accounting Technical Committee of Nigeria Insurers Association from 2008 to 2010. He is a seasoned Assessor of Financial Accounting with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
 
He joined Prestige Assurance Plc in 2013 as the Financial Controller, a position he handled effectively well until his appointment as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in January, 2016.
